Church & Society Info Table: Sunday, Oct. 19

Wondering how to get involved in simple, local ways that make a real difference this week?

Stop by the Church and Society Action Committee’s Information Table on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, between services in the Commons. In a few minutes, you can learn about current projects, sign up to volunteer, and share issues you want our church to explore in Rochester.

Why stop by?

• Volunteer quickly: Add your name to our Meals on Wheels driver list or learn how to help with deliveries.
• Support local families: Get details on CarePortal needs (furniture, bedding, household goods) and how to donate.
• Explore next steps on immigration: See how area congregations are coordinating support and advocacy.
• Share your ideas: Tell us about community needs you’re seeing and where the church can help.

Where and when

When: Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, between the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services
Where: The Commons (look for the Church and Society table)

Can’t make it?

Contact the church office and ask for Pastor Jenny or Rich Frevert to learn more or to join the committee. We meet monthly and welcome new voices.

The mission of the Church and Society Action Committee is to think and live God’s love in Jesus of Nazareth for all people and for creation. If you’re ready to turn concern into action, start with a quick stop at the table. We’ll meet you there.
