“The Sower Sows the Word: Faith on a Stick and in Crop Art”
August 17, 2025, 10:15 AM – In-person Hamline Room and on Zoom
Presenter: Keri Ostby

Butter isn’t the only medium at the Minnesota State Fair used to create images. Crop art is a unique art form using seeds and crops to create portraits and landscapes and also share political, cultural, and other messages. Learn about this beloved part of the Minnesota State Fair and take home a crop art kit. We’ll have 24 kits available that you can take home and try. Then consider exhibiting your handicraft at the August 31, CUMC State Fair!
