Find Your Place at Christ UMC: Ministry Fair on Sept. 28

Looking for a simple way to get connected this fall? On Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, our Ministry Fair will make it easy to meet leaders, ask questions and sign up for groups and service opportunities in one stop.

When to come

Plan to stop by between worship services. You’ll find tables and friendly faces ready to help you connect throughout the morning.

What you’ll find

Explore ministries for every age and schedule. Talk with leaders, pick up details and add your name to interest lists.

Featured areas

  • Caring Ministries: Learn about Flourishing (first and third Tuesdays) and Journeys (second Sundays)—safe spaces for growth and support.
  • CU Wednesdays: Dinner, small groups and music rehearsals make midweek a great time to grow in community.
  • Worship & Music: Curious about choir or bells? Meet directors and see how to join.
  • Children, Youth and Families: Get the fall lineup for Sunday school, youth group and Wednesday night programs.
  • Church & Society (Justice and Service): Ask about volunteer roles with Meals on Wheels and how to help launch our CarePortal effort the week of the fair.
  • Missions & Outreach: Find ways to serve with Saturday Noon Meals, medical clinic partnerships and community projects.

Why this Sunday matters

The Ministry Fair also wraps up our September sermon series, Great Expectations, which explores how United Methodists—empowered by the Holy Spirit—love boldly, serve joyfully and lead courageously. If you’ve been considering next steps, this is a practical moment to act and connect your gifts to real needs.

Quick tips before you come

  • Bring your calendar: You can sign up for groups and volunteer dates on the spot.
  • Invite a friend: New to church? This is a low-pressure way to meet people and learn what’s available.
  • Need a ride? Our church van offers Sunday transportation. Contact the office during the week to be added to the pickup list.

See you at the fair

Bring one question you’ve been carrying about faith or service, and stop at a table that speaks to it. We’ll be ready to listen, help you explore options and get you started.
