Appalachia Service Project (ASP)
Repairing homes, building friendships, deepening faith.
Each summer our high school students and adult chaperones spend a week in the Appalachia region and use their time and skills to help make homes safer, warmer and drier. They also spend time getting to know local communities and their culture. No experience necessary!
Opportunities for Youth
The Appalachia Service Project provides rewarding service opportunities, bringing volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families. For more than 50 years, ASP has made homes warmer, safer, and drier for families and provided transformational service experiences for volunteers. Each year, more than 15,000 volunteers serve with ASP, providing critical repairs for more than 350 families.
